What to Order
Regular slices go for $2.50 and a regular pie goes for $16, cash only. Adding some toppings, which I rarely do at Patsy’s, adds $4 per topping, except for meatball or prosciutto, which add $6 each to the price.
Good to know before you go
- Hours: Monday – Wednesday 11am – 10pm, Thursday-Friday 11am-11pm, Saturday 11am-10pm, Sunday 12pm – 10pm
- The Wait: You can generally determine the wait by the double-parked cars out front. The thin-crust pizza bakes quickly in the coal-fired ovens, so no line takes very long, but it can be deceiving for the uninitiated.
Patsy’s is the perfect NYC combination of classic food mixed with an amazing history. The more you know about Patsy’s, the better the pizza tastes. There are no tables at the pizza shop and only a thin, small counter. This is the definition of a take-out spot. If you want to sit there and enjoy your pizza, go next door to their cash-only, full serve restaurant, the one that hosted “The Godfather” pre-shoot meal. The pizza is a drop more expensive, I mean, you are being served, so $18 for a regular pie. The chicken parm here is a family favorite and at $21.95, one of the cheapest on the island. But that’s for another post.
