Lovely’s Old Fashioned, Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

After seeing a play recently, we were looking for a spot to eat a late-ish dinner in Hell’s Kitchen that we hadn’t tried before. We’ve passed Lovely’s Old Fashioned many times and that night was the night to try it. It’s a small place with a counter and a brisk to-go business. Walking inside, the place smelled amazing. The grill was busy, a good sign. We sat at the counter and ordered what you see in the pics. The burger was cheap, $8, and the reason is that it’s kinda small, which was actually perfect for me that night. I try not to eat heavy after 9pm. The order of fries was big enough for 2 to share and the chicken sandwich was nicely sized for $12. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. All in all, this was the perfect meal for after a show.
